Justin Kalusa

Justin will be the head coach of one of the 16u Triboh teams and will be assisted by Austin Lovelady and Sean Helsel. Coach Kalusa will also handle the pitching training during the off-season winter training for Triboh Baseball. Justin is entering his third season as an assistant coach for the Elgin Community College Spartans mainly as the team’s pitching coach, but also helps out with the outfield. Justin was on the 2011 and 2012 Spartan ball club. During his 2 seasons as the centerfielder for the Spartans Justin had much success earning 2 All-American awards, 2 AllConference awards, 2 All-Region awards, and 2 Region 4 player of the year awards. Justin then moved on to play centerfield at Indiana Tech in Fort Wayne, Indiana where his success continued where he led the warriors in almost every offensive categories the two years he played at Tech. Justin also added more accolades to his resume where he received 2 All-conference awards, an All-American award, and WHAC Player of the year, while earning 2 WHAC conference players of the week during his final season with the warriors. Justin then moved on and played Independent ball with the Florence Freedom in Florence, Kentucky before returning home to Elgin, Illinois. Justin has been a part of multiple travel organizations over the past few years and has helped with the development of those players. Justin has also helped Gameday USA with evaluating players of all ages from different states for the past two years with Bill Angelo and Ralph Riske.
