Michael Clayton

Coach Michael is a dedicated athlete and coach with a strong background in baseball, football, and wrestling. A former standout athlete at DeKalb High School, Coach Michael excelled in all three sports, earning varsity letters in baseball, football, and wrestling.

 

His passion for sports carried over to his collegiate career at College of DuPage, where he played baseball from 2021 to 2023. During this time, Coach Michael honed his skills and became known for his expertise in hitting and infield play, two areas in which he continues to specialize.

Beyond his athletic achievements, Coach Michael also embraced the role of mentor and coach. He served as a volunteer assistant coach at College of DuPage, helping to develop and inspire the next generation of athletes. This experience solidified his commitment to coaching, a path he continues to pursue with passion.

In the summer of 2024, Coach Michael took on the role of Head Travel Baseball Coach at Perfect Swing in Darien, IL, where he not only led his team to success but also focused on developing players' skills and instilling the values of teamwork, discipline, and hard work.

In the fall of 2024, Coach Michael joined the staff at Triboh Baseball, where he continued to lead hitters and infielders.With his extensive experience as both a player and coach, Coach Michael remains dedicated to elevating athletes' performance and teaching the fundamentals of the game.
